Spellirium

Spellirium is a trashpunk comedy adventure game where you spell words to solve puzzles.  Classically-animated characters on hand-painted backgrounds tell the story of an apprentice Runekeeper exploring the mystery of a dead friend, as he journeys out across the ruined landscape of a dystopian future. Fight monsters, spend words as currency, and collect ingredients to cast spells as you and your companions discover the shocking secrets behind a land where reading and writing have been forbidden.
