The Cow Gets Stickier

We were tickled pink to announce our first online multiplayer game Interrupting Cow Trivia one month ago. We have improved the game based on your feedback, and today we’re very excited to introduce the game’s Challenge a Friend feature.

Cows

Bring your friends.

Three weeks in the making by crack ace Untold Programmer Jeff (hint: his member name is ue_jeff, in case you want to challenge him), the Challenge a Friend feature makes a number of very major improvements to the Interrupting Cow Trivia experience:

You don’t have to play live with other people

Love Interrupting Cow Trivia, but hate getting interrupted? With Challenge a Friend, you get to answer at your own speed. No one’s there to butt in and nab your points.

Your Friends and Foes lists are imported for your convenience

When you Challenge a Friend, you can easily choose to challenge the other Untold Entertainment community members from your Friends and Foes list. (To edit your Friends and Foes lists, log in to the Boards section and click User Control Panel>Friends & Foes)

You can challenge anyone

You don’t have to challenge community members – you can Challenge a Friend by entering his email address and nickname.

We keep track of your wins, losses and ties

No matter who you challenge, we’ll keep records of how many times you won, lost, and tied against that person. You can fake your death or change your identity with disfiguring plastic surgery, but that Wins/Losses/Ties record is there to stay! Moo!

You’ll prove that you’re better than other people

Didn’t you know? Beating someone at trivia means you’re better than that person. So c’mon! Exert your intellectual superiority and try out the Challenge A Friend feature RIGHT THIS VERY SECOND!!

of note: Interrupting Cow Trivia is in alpha. That means that it could, conceivably, be broken and crappy. And you may notice that there are no graphics, along with a suspicious lack of any sort of cow. We’re working on it. On the bright side, there are no ads in the alpha version, so enjoy!

Moo.
