A quick Google search for "Scrabble dictionary" and "license" turns up a whopping pile of freeware lists and apps, leading one to wonder if the word list is free to use, provided credit is given (?) i couldn’t find anything concrete to back up my wild claim, except for this nugget on Wikipedia:
